Note that in determining the total ground area required for your tent, you should allow yourself a minimum of two feet around the tent perimeter for setup. This area will be taken up by roping, to ensure that your tent remains on the ground! For instance, if you order a 10x20 tent, you'll need a 12x22 area for setup.
